Heather Comb Honey
This 227g Heather comb honey is a unique way to enjoy heather honey in its most natural form. Our bees gather nectar from our heather apiary in August, filling the wax comb with this strong-flavored, jelly-like honey. This honey is cut from the frame and is proven to contain beneficial antioxidants and antibacterial properties. Our honey is raw, unheated, and contains pollen particles. Please note that raw honey is not suitable for children under 1 year old.
Recent research at Trinity College Dublin and Dublin City University have found that Irish heather honey has a higher anti-oxidant capacity than other health boosting honeys such as Manuka.
