We’re delighted to share some wonderful news — both our Ivy Blossom Honey and Summer Honey have been recognised at some of the most prestigious food awards of 2025.
Ivy Honey — 3 Stars at the Great Taste Awards & Finalist at Blas na hÉireann
Our Ivy Blossom Honey has been awarded an outstanding 3 Stars at the Great Taste Awards — the highest possible rating — and named a Finalist at the 2025 Blas na hÉireann Irish Food Awards.
The Great Taste judges were full of praise for this honey, describing it as:
“This thick set honey has a very white colour and a wonderful floral aroma. It has a toffee-like texture that coats the mouth. The floral notes come through in the flavour along with some perfume; it is rich and has great length at the finish. A truly delicious honey.”
“What a splendid product – the bees have done a fine job in capturing those ivy flowers. The floral notes open up with great intent and stay long on the palate. What a delicious honey!”
“Pale, thick honey with an incredibly rich aroma full of floral notes. The thick, smooth texture releases an incredible array of complex flavours, rich with the taste of the environment these hard-working bees have been in. The sweet floral flavour carries notes of citrus. This honey has so much character and flavour we could readily eat it by the spoonful.”
“A stunning set of flavours and aromas. This honey is just as described if not more so. Judges could have finished the pot there and then.”
Harvested in late autumn when ivy blooms, this honey captures the essence of the season — deep, herbal, and silky smooth.

The Farmhouse Raw Summer Honey — 1 Star at the Great Taste Awards & Bronze at the Irish Quality Food & Drink Awards
Our Summer Honey has also been celebrated, earning a 1 Star at the Great Taste Awards and a Bronze Medal at the 2025 Irish Quality Food & Drink Awards.
Judges highlighted its fresh, floral character:
“This honey has a fresh, floral and fruity embrace with the linden making an especially subtle entrance on the flavour journey. Judges enjoyed the sweetness that carries a hint of acidity for a long finish.”
“The aroma is warm, floral, meadowy, with hints of the hive. The taste is gently sweet and floral, with a slight lime or linden-toned lift. ”
This light, floral honey captures the sweetness of Irish summer wildflowers and is versatile for culinary use or simply enjoying by the spoonful.
